After years of outdoor activities and simple signs of aging, men begin to develop wrinkles and sagging below their eyelids. This can make you look stern and in some cases, older than you actually are. Today, male eyelid surgeries to reverse these signs of aging are becoming more and more popular.

About Blepharoplasty

A Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery is a procedure that removes excess skin that causes drooping eyelids. The procedure is different for men than women because of the varying facial contours between the genders. With thicker muscles and skin, it is important that the procedure is performed by a doctor who is board-certified and has years of experience performing eyelid surgeries on men specifically.

Am I a good candidate?

For a blepharoplasty, you should not have existing health conditions specifically in the eyes. The best candidates wish to improve their sagging upper or lower eyelids, decrease puffiness and get rid of extra skin.

The excess skin and fat is also removed in this procedure.
