This patient in her 40s came in wanting to address her abdomen after having her child and losing over 50lbs. She desired to achieve a flatter stomach by getting rid of the excess bulk she had on her lower abdomen. To accomplish her goals, we performed an abdominoplasty to repair her muscle separation and remove excess skin, while also performing some liposuction to her flank area for contour.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

During the procedure, we also inject Exparel into the incision sites and muscle repair for our tummy tuck patients in order to minimize their pain after surgery. With Exparel many patients find that they need minimal or no opioid medication to manage their pain after!
